The Goal

JDE wanted to reposition Piazza D'Oro as the premium barrista coffee of choice, by reconnecting the branding to a more visually stimulating offering and move away from the dated appearance and locations it had become associated with.

By creating a mood board to explore the desired positioning of premium, sensual, human, simple, confident and contemporary, and leveraging these visual cues, were able to completely alter the dated perception of the brand and realign it to a more discerning clientele.

The Solution

A full brand review was conducted,
the output of which was a mood board establishing the desired new audience,
the relevant positioning, and personality
of Piazza D'Oro.

A visual experience to evoke a connection with the sensory experience created by freshly brewed premium coffee. 


From these insights, a new Global Identity was forged incorporating sensitivity and style, whilst still remaining connected to
the human touch of the barista.
